Delivery Day

The long awaited day has finally come. This morning Kerri and I woke up at 5:30 am to call the hospital too see if they had a bed for us. By 7:45 we were at the hospital ready to get the baby extraction process started. I'll try not to share too many details, so here's the 20,000 foot summary. Basically we got our room, got the IVs going, and boom, 5 hours later we had a baby.

Southdale Hospital

Grandma Lynch and Aunt Kim got to be part of the big show this time. Kerri appreciated the extra company while she was waiting for the big moment.

This afternoon Grandma and Grandpa Albrecht came to visit. The bond with little Taylor was instant.

Lauren is enjoying time at home with Grandma Lynch, and Grandpa and Grandma Albrecht. We are not quite sure what she is going to think of her new sister. We sure do miss her though while we are in the hospital.

This afternoon Taylor was pretty quiet, so we're thinking she might have plans for a big party tonight.
